Fastest swimmer in Hawaii high school history

DANIEL ZANE KAILIKOA EUGENIO COAKLEY


Even though his busy schedule keeps him training in Jacksonville, Florida most of the year, whenever Daniel gets the opportunity, he enjoys sharing his skills and experiences as an international swimmer with age group swimmers.


As an international competitor he has competed in the 2005 Manila My Games, Philippines,  1st Youth World 2006 Championships in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, 2006 Asian Games held in Doha, Qatar, 2007 Southeast Asian Youth Championships in Singapore, 24th Southeast Asian Games 2007 in Ratchasima, Thailand and the Beijing China 2008 Olympic Games.  This December he will be competing in the 25th Southeast Asian Games hosted by the country of Laos.  And in November of 2010 will again compete in the 2010 Asian Games to be held in the city of Guangzhou, China.


His international travels and competitions has enabled him to make many new friends and to learn of their exotic cultures.  Experiences that he has shared with youths and adults in formal and informal gatherings  while teaching his competition racing skills.


After the conclusion of the Laos Southeast Asian Games on December 14th Daniel will be traveling to the Philippines where he meet with several age group and college swim teams.  He will then return to his hometown of Kohala on the Big Island of Hawaii.


While in Hawaii for a few months rest and relaxation before he begins training for the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games, Daniel will be conducting training sessions in competition racing for groups and individuals.  If you are interested in learning more about his training sessions, he may be contacted at kalanicoakley@yahoo.com.
